1. Acceptance of Terms:
By creating an account with AudioScripter or by accessing and using any part of our website, applications, or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses the platform.
2. Description of Services:
AudioScripter is an all-in-one AI audio platform that provides audio-to-text transcription, text-to-speech generation, voice cloning, and AI music generation. Service features, supported file formats, processing limits, and output quality may vary depending on your credit balance and the nature of the uploaded content. We continually improve our services and may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice.
3. Account Registration and Security:
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, and keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Providing false information, impersonating another person, or creating accounts by automated means may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use:
You agree to use AudioScripter for lawful purposes only. You must not upload content that is harmful, unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others. When using the voice cloning feature, you must have the clear consent of the person whose voice is being cloned, and you must not use cloned voices to deceive, impersonate, or defraud others. You also agree not to interfere with the operation of the platform, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or use the service to develop competing products. Misuse of the platform will result in suspension or termination of your account.
5. Credits, Payments, and Refunds:
AudioScripter operates on a credit-based system in which $1 equals 100 credits. Credits can be purchased through the recharge options available in your wallet and are deducted when you use platform features such as transcription, text-to-speech, voice cloning, or music generation. New users receive a limited number of free credits to explore the platform. Purchased credits are non-transferable. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once credits have been consumed; if you believe you were charged in error or a generation failed due to a fault in our service, please contact support and we will review your case.
6. Your Content:
You retain ownership of the audio files, text, and other content you upload to AudioScripter, as well as the transcripts, audio, and music you generate, to the extent permitted by applicable law. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the services to you. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to upload your content and to use the resulting output.
7. Intellectual Property:
All software, designs, trademarks, logos, and other materials that make up the AudioScripter platform are the property of AudioScripter or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these terms, nothing transfers any ownership of the platform to you. You are not permitted to copy, distribute, modify, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the software.
8. Ads and Revenue:
AudioScripter may display ads to support the free tier of our software. By using the platform, you consent to the display of such ads. We do not sell your uploaded content to advertisers, and ads are served in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties:
AudioScripter is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. While we strive for high transcription accuracy and reliable audio generation, AI-generated output may contain errors, and we do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all output before relying on it, particularly for legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes use.
10. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AudioScripter and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Modifications to These Terms:
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using the services and may close your account.
12. Termination:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or where required by law. You may stop using the services and request deletion of your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately; provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability clauses) will continue to apply.
